"Invasion From Mars" showcases the beautifully effortless work of Cecil Surry. Surry worked for Disney and Walter Lance Studios during the 30s, and drew comics for Western Publishing through the 40s and 50s. During the 1950s, he animated for UPA as well, primarily on Magoo cartoons."Invasion From Mars" appeared in Gerald McBoing Boing and the Nearsighted Mr. Magoo No. 1, August-October, 1952.
