Today's story is a comic book adaptation of the 1954 Walt Disney film, Rob Roy, with glorious artwork by Russ Manning. This is from Four Color No. 544, March 1954. Mr. Manning strikes the bullseye dead center with this period piece. The script is by Elizabeth Beecher, according to the ever-helpful Grand Comic Book Database.
I love how Dell often utilized every comic page when telling an epic story. With Rob Roy, for instance, the first page, introducing the characters, is from the inside front cover; and the two last pages are the inside back cover and the back cover, respectively.
